An Oklahoma native, Meghan relocated to New Hampshire in 2022 by way of Arizona. A physical therapist (PT) for 20 years, Meghan has worked with everyone from professional athletes to postpartum mothers and everyone in between. She holds a PhD in Human and Sports Performance, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board Certifications, and has taught and led as a professor in an academic Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She is well published, presenting her research at both national and international levels.
A lifelong athlete, Meghan found CrossFit in 2012, quickly making her way into Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting competitions. In 2021, she qualified for the Legends Championship (which is now where the Masters CrossFit Games will be held), placing 15th in the world. With several national titles under her weightlifting belt, and a top 2% finish in the 2021 CrossFit Games Open season, Meghan has had an impressive athletic career as a Masters Athlete.
More important than any of her accomplishments is her family. Meghan is wife to Forrest, an AirForce Veteran and current Air National Guardsman and Department of Defense Firefighter. She is mother to Forrest Benjamin, a 6 year old firecracker who keeps her on her toes and laughing hysterically.
In January of 2023, Meghan and her son were driving through rural New Hampshire during a mild snow storm and lost control of their vehicle. Into oncoming traffic, Meghan prayed that God keep her child safe and give her whatever he thought she was capable of handling. As it turns out, God delivers, and her weightlifting and CrossFit career saved her life. The strength and stability she had kept her concussion, ruptured cervical disc, and bruised spinal cord from becoming a full spinal cord injury that would have required assistance with breathing.
Meghan understands what it's like to be on both sides of healthcare. She is completely dedicated to her family, her community, and her clients. If you are ready to take control of your life, achieve your dreams, and have a lot of fun on the way, she's your girl.
